Paul Mokeski is a retired American professional basketball player and the former head coach of the Reno Bighorns of the NBA D-League. At 7-foot, his position was center. He was a college basketball player out of Crespi Carmelite High School and the University of Kansas, most noted for his tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Mokeski was an assistant coach with the Fort Worth Flyers of the NBA D-League. In June 2007, he was hired by the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats as an assistant coach under Sam Vincent. He was let go at the end of the 2007-08 season, when Vincent was fired.
He was later an assistant coach with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA D-League. In September 2011, he became the head coach of the Reno Bighorns. In March 2013, he was relieved of his head coaching duties.
He was also an assistant coach to the Great Britain team in 2011 and 2012.
Mokeski is often referenced by popular sportswriter Bill Simmons, as he as often wrote about "the power of Mokeski." Mokeski was announced as the Miracles Head Coach in February 2016.
Matthew Robertson has been involved in basketball across all levels. He is a former Moncton Miracles player having played for the team for three years. Prior to his pro career, he played University basketball for five years. Robertson has coached provincial, high school, and bantam teams. He has played and developed his game under many coaches including NB coaching legend Dwight Dickinson and former NBA coach Mike Evans. He hopes his experience in the NBL Canada, watching and competing against many of the players still in the league will give the Miracles a little bit of an edge.
Todd McKillop is entering his fourth season as the head coach of the Harrison Trimble Girls’ basketball team. He previously coached high school boys at Harrison Trimble and Moncton High from 1993 to 2010. McKillop has coached provincial teams at all levels and started his coaching career as an assistant coach at Saint Francis Xavier University under Canada’s most winning University coach Steve Konchalski, where the X-Men won the CIS National Championship in 1993.
McKillop has been a major part of the basketball scene in Moncton since 1982 where he played high school basketball for legendary Harrison Trimble coach Brian Forsythe. McKillop played his University basketball for the perennial national power house Saint Francis Xavier X-men. He has also been a large part of Moncton’s youth skill development with his summer basketball camps which he has been involved with for the last 33 years. This is Todd’s second season as an Assistant Coach for the Moncton Miracles.
