Miracles defeat Island Storm in only home preseason game in front of a packed crowd at Crandall University

On December 21, 2015, the Moncton Miracles played their only home preseason game against the Island Storm.

It was a close game the whole way through and at the end of the first quarter the Miracles trailed the Island storm with a score of 24-29.  

In the second quarter Tydran Beaty was looking to get the team going as he threw down a big dunk to put the Miracles within 6.  At the end of the second quarter the Miracles had tied it up at 57-57.  

With just under six minutes remaining in the third quarter Anthony Gurley hit a two from deep to put the Miracles up by 6. At the end of the third quarter it was still tied up with a score of 84-84. 

In this close game time was running low when the Island were pushing to score James Justice came up with a clutch massive block that kept the Miracles up by three. 

The Final score of the nail biter of a game was 115-110 in favor of the hometown Miracles. 

James Justice was the leading scorer for the Miracles with an impressive 27 points, and then Anthony Gurley and Tom Granado contributed with 16 points a piece.

The Miracles play their home opener at the Moncton Coliseum on December 27 at 2pm.
