Miracles pick up second win with new head coach, Paul Mokeski, defeating the Orangeville A's 114-85

The Miracles won their second game in a row under new head coach, Paul Mokeski. The Miracles had a commanding lead through the whole game. The starters for the Miracles were Tydran Beaty, Brandon Kearney,  Derek Hall, Tom Granado, and Dexter Strickland. 

Tydran Beaty opens up the game with a massive two hand slam to give the Miracles the first lead of the game.  At the first media time out the Miracles had a lead of 12-11 which was when the game was still close. Strickland drives to the hoop and gets the bucket and the foul and goes to the line for one. The Miracles lead by 9 with 2:16 left in the first. At the end of the first the Miracles lead 29-18. 

Miracles have a lead of 38-20 with 5:48 left in the first half. Miracles go up by 20 with 3:38 left in the half. At the end of the first half the Miracles led 53-31. 

Kearney nails a three which gives the Miracles a 27 point lead halfway through the third. Brandon Kearney had a great night and it seemed that every shot he took went in. Timeout Orangeville, the Miracles lead 70-42 with 4:40 left in the third. Then Dexter Strickland had a huge jam to give the Miracles a 39 point lead. At the end the third the Miracles lead 87-48. 

The Miracles were running away with it late in the game with 8:23 left to go the Miracles led 95-60. Jerron Jamerson had a big slam late in the game and at the end the Miracles came out big with a score of 114-85.

Leading the way for your Miracles was Brandan Kearney with 23, followed by Dexter Strickland with 17. Cordell Jeanty had 15 points and added in 9 rebounds in 24 minutes. For the A's it was Flenard Whitfield with 14 points.

The Miracles play their next game on February 25 at the Moncton Coliseum against the Saint John Mill Rats.
